Returns Policy

Changed your mind or received the wrong item? Here is how returns work.

Your right to return

We want you to be happy with your value homeware. You may return most items within 30 days of receiving them for a refund or exchange, provided they are unused, in a resaleable condition and in their original packaging. This is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Items we cannot accept back

  • Items that have been used, washed or assembled beyond what is needed to inspect them.
  • Items returned without their original packaging where this affects resale.
  • For hygiene reasons, certain bathroom items once unsealed, unless they are faulty.

How to start a return

  1. Email support@fairdealhouse.shop with your order details and the SKU you wish to return.
  2. We will confirm the return address and provide a simple returns reference.
  3. Pack the item securely and include the reference inside the parcel.

Return postage

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return postage. If an item is faulty or we sent the wrong item, we will cover reasonable return postage. We recommend using a tracked service, as items remain your responsibility until they reach us.

Faulty or damaged items

If an item arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us as soon as possible and within 30 days where you can. We may ask for a photograph to help us resolve it quickly. Faulty items are covered by the Refund Policy and your statutory rights.
